Last week we served a signature cocktail – A Winter Wassail- and was a huge hit with all of our guest I thought I would share it! A festive beverage blend of apple, black currant, and lemon juices infused with holiday spices and orange peel. Sounds amazing right!
Winter Wassail origination– A Wassail is an Old English drink accompanied by rituals believed to influence plentiful apple harvest the following year. As a beverage, it evolved to become a mulled cider made with spices and served in a large communal bowl, frequently served at social gatherings during Yuletide. Although the ways of the communal bowl might have disappeared, we created a modern version influenced by tradition. .
