This past holiday weekend our family went to the ranch to celebrate Leigh’s birthday. I wanted to create a transitional table of the seasons from summer to fall. The ranch is beautiful and I knew using the pergola would be a beautiful spot for our celebration dinner.

My first inspiration for creating the table was this buffalo check runner and napkins. You will start seeing a lot of buffalo check during the holiday season! Not only does it give a table texture and depth but it complements a lot of fall and winter hues.

I am not sure if I have ever not had candles on my tablescapes because they are great for giving the table height and new dimension. I was able to use these beautiful open lanterns.

The place setting was simple! Two top trends in place settings – black silverware and copper charger plates.

For a pop of fall, I incorporated fall neutral picks and mini pumpkin boxwood planters.

Doing this table made me very excited for fall and I can’t wait to share my home with you for fall!

Celebrate Everyday!

Until next time,
Whitney Elaine
