Hey guys, welcome back! What a great week this has been! I have loved all of your responses from the post! Thank you so much! Today we are featuring our office and dining spaces.
Our office before was a considered a formal living room. We knew when we purchased the property, we would never use the space so we decided to move walls.
We moved walls over to create a larger dining space and made a perfect size study. We molded everything! Chair rail, crown, window encasement you name it- we did it! I wanted my office to be fun and bold so we painted the built in navy.
We added new lighting kits throughout the home. We decided to go with a rustic antler chandelier for this room. The rest of the room is vibrant and bold including Page Gemmel’s monkey paintings, and Georgianna Lane Paris prints. This antiqued and refurbished Hermes tray was such a fun find at a local market.
Our dining room before was completely overhauled with molding. We updated the lighting fixture and cleaned it up a bit!
Our dining room table and chair are from Pottery Barn. The window treatments are West Elm.
BONUS * Entry way *
The entry way was pretty but needed some help!
We kept the door to save some money by repainting it. I had a local glass company come replace the glass to update it! So much more light come through now!
We added new wood flooring, enhanced the space with crown molding, added a lighting pendant and a custom mirror.
Welcome to our home! I hope you got some great ideas for updates. Simple things like painting your front door or adding molding can make a huge difference!
Until next time,
Whitney Elaine
