The master bath is one of my favorite places. If you can’t tell already, I love a clean look. So we went with white cabinetry and a Calacatta gold for the custom vanity sinks. I am all about making most of a space, so we decided to separate the large vanity with a counter-to-ceiling cabinet. This has been ideal for both my husband and I to keep toiletry & personal items that we don’t want the babies getting a hold of.
Are you seeing a theme? I love the look of white and gold together, and white and black. Our shower is heaven after a long day of work. The contrast of the slate and white subway makes for a dramatic look. To change it up a bit, we laid the subway in different patterns – brick, and herringbone for the ceiling. For the shampoo cubbies, we used mosaic sheet tile. One piece of advice I would recommend is invest in your shower fixtures. These Newport brass rain head and shower head make a huge difference in your shower experience.
