Summer Living Room Refresh

My number one goal for the living room was to create a warm and open space. I selected smaller pieces of furniture to leave the room open for children to play with toys, and spacious for entertaining. This room is full of different patterns, and that’s okay! Play around with different patterns and you will be surprised how it comes together.

Summer Living Room Refresh

I love to keep fresh and faux flowers around the house. This fiddle fig tree is beautiful at night with its micro lights. This has traditionally been the place for our Christmas tree, so secretly, this is substitute for my beautiful flocked tree :). Our fireplace is unique, one the reasons why we liked the home so much in the first place. Being a real wood-burning fireplace, it set a beautiful scene during the winter month(s). We decided not to paint the brick because it’s rich in a variety of different colors and wanted to maintain its initial style. I like to change the mantle up every season and give it a different look.
