It’s St. Patricks Day week and I’m excited to be sharing some fun ideas with you all to celebrate the holiday. This weekend we are hosting my family over to celebrate my grandmothers birthday, which happens to fall on St. Patricks Day! My grandmother and I were super close, we lost her to Luekemia but we still love to celebrate her life and how special of a person she was. So I came up with a theme, ” I’m so lucky to have you” dinner to celebrate our current family and remember her.

The first thing that inspired me to do this table was the rainbow tulip centerpiece. Not only is it perfect for spring but fit the event theme as I wanted to showcase luck at the end of the rainbow. Earlier this week I did a step by step tutorial on how to get the look click here.

I started with a pretty green runner from Pier 1 and placed my tulip arrangement on top. I scattered fun gold chocolate candies around the runner and added candles.

I used emerald green glassware and vintage wine glasses at each setting. I found four leaf clover picks and bent the wire into a circle and used them for napkin rings.

For each place setting I used my mother’s vintage ivy china and topped it with Grace’s porcelain polka dots salad plates. You all know I love to mix new with old! 🙂

The overall look of this fun table!

I made a fun fruit lucky rainbow to pass around the table. It’s super simple all you need is Strawberries, clementines, pinapple, grapes, and blueberries. For the clouds I used marshmellows and for the gold I used Rolos. Everything is bite sized so I had toothpicks on the side for people to pick out their goodies!

The second fun item I served was “Pot’s of Gold” they are delicious!! All I did was dip Oreos into chocolate and poured Wilton gold sprinkles on the top and garnished the top with Airhead rainbow rope.

I had so much fun decorating this St. Patricks table for our family and can’t wait to make more memories around this table!

Until next time,
Whitney Elaine
