Welcome to my table! I love dramatic tables and this design is no exception!
My main focus was these stunning pumpkins from Hot Skwash. They are so versatile that I can’t get enough of them. They can be styled in many different ways. At the end of the day, decorating is supposed to make you HAPPY, so do what you LOVE best. We all have different tastes and styles so just DO YOU!
Previously, I have styled these pumpkins scattered throughout the table but I wanted to do something different. So I decided to go UP, I used three of my largest pumpkins and showcased them on tall glass stands. This adds interest and depth into your designs and will help create the wow factor for your guests.
For each place setting, I used neutral fall leaf chargers, my watercolor china, topped with grey leaf salad plates and I finished the look with a mini spa color pumpkin (perfect for guest favors). I love to mix match my china plates so don’t feel like you have to stick with everything being matchy matchy! 🙂
For this romantic table setting I brought out one of my favorite pieces of china, handcrafted Italian wine glasses. These soft yellow wine glasses have beautiful etching on them and reflect different light. I encourage you to break out something that you treasure during the holidays- bring it back to life by using it! They can sit pretty all day long in a cabinet but it’s something special when you have a piece on your table you can tell a story about.
Finish the look with adding natural candlelight.
