Thanksgiving is two week away! Can you believe how fast this month has flown by? I think for me it has gone by fast in anticipation of decorating for the holidays. Believe it or not, my house is already fully decorated for Christmas! A lot of people ask me why I do this, and some people will say because I”m a blogger. However, I decorate other people’s homes for the holidays so either my house gets decorated the day after Halloween, or Christmas week. But believe me, I haven’t forgotten the TURKEY! I love Thanksgiving and the meaning behind it all, and being able to celebrate how blessed and thankful we are with family. In the next several days, I will be showing you a few tablescapes we created the last month perfect for celebrating Thanksgiving.
First up, let’s talk neutral pumpkins! This table was entirely focused around seafoam, taupe, and ivory pumpkins.
When it comes to the holidays break out all your pretty things! Crystal candleholders, China, wine glasses and flatware.
For this table, I separated the pumpkins into three focal groups. Use all different sizes and try to lay them some on their sides, some on top of each other to create a different look.
Y’all know how I feel about candlelight. These votives are super affordable, and they are versatile! I have used these for many tablescape. Also, I love the look of candlelight and mercury class! Makes your table shine!
For place settings- layer. I used a flat leaf glitter charger for the foundation. Add your dinner and salad plate on top. For the icing on the cake I used antiqued bowls on top..
I like my table to be dramatic so these ruffled creme napkins add a little flair, and the boxwood napkin rings adds a sparkle! 🙂
I try to complete the table so wherever your sitting there’s something beautiful to look at even if you are at the heads.
Play with your color palette, I added the midnight blue votives to make the seafoam pumpkins pop and the wine glasses.
I love these hand made pumpkins, they are from Oregon, click here for my source.
That’s it y’all! Keep coming back, we have more tablescapes to share. Below are additional resources!
Everyday’s a holiday!
Until Next Time,
Whitney Elaine
